Client Requirement In support of US-mandated quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley compliance management, our client needed to radically improve their existing mechanism of maintenance of their standard operating processes and procedures.
Solution Delivered The solution we delivered for our client included;
- converting over 40 SOX-related process maps and detailed work instructions into Holocentric Modeler, linking people, processes and technology,
- utilising the global-standard Committee of Sponsoring Organisations (COSO) SOX framework for the categorization of control activity types,
- producing a common integrated electronic HTML repository for process maps, procedures, compliance testing results,
- setting up for rapid quarterly auditing changes by ensuring the HTML model was reviewed by process owners,
- broadening the SOX Compliance Manager role into one of Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager, placing more emphasis on continuous improvement rather than on pure compliance.

Client Requirement Our client needed an online business architecture model including online operations reference and procedures manuals.
Solution Delivered The solution we delivered for our client included;
- using Holocentric to refresh existing MS-Visio process maps,
- creating a set of standardised up-to-date business processes within a single repository,
- delivering an online franchise operations manual that allows its network of nearly 40 franchisees (and own 40 Group Office staff) to easily and quickly access systems and procedures online,
- structuring the online manual as a valuable induction tool, helping to make new employees and franchises productive more quickly.

- incorporating a navigation structure (commonly a variation of ‘People-Process-Technology’ – hence the 3 dimensions),
- setting up additional quick search options (for example ‘FAQs’, or links to policy or standard forms repositories),
- assisting with strategies for maintaining the currency of the model,
- communicating the existence and use of the resource to the organisation.
